Australia’s participation at COP27 demonstrates the country’s commitment to carbon neutrality whilst promoting it’s unique national identity. The pavilion design was carefully crafted to integrate the Australia Nation Brand identity, creating a space that was both modern and sophisticated, with natural tones complimenting the green and gold of the nation brand.
The pavilion served as a networking hub where visitors could connect, grab a coffee, and relax. The coffee bar was a standout feature, serving sustainably sourced coffee Australian-style, and quickly become a popular meeting spot for delegates. The pavilion also featured a theatre space that hosted and facilitated presentations, which showcased Australian companies highlighting their initiatives to promote sustainability globally.
The hero LED screen was used as a backdrop to display content, including industry videos and nation brand elements, which helped to reinforce the message of Australia’s commitment to carbon neutrality. The theatre space was transformed into a networking and working area, where visitors and delegates could meet, connect, and work in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Overall, the Australian Pavilion was a powerul demonstration of the country’s commitment to sustainable practices, and a showcase of it unique national identity.
