Optus and OPPO Australia collaborated on an in-store activation at Macquarie Centre and Westfield Bondi Junction to promote their partnership with pop-star Lorde. The activation as designed to engage shoppers and provide opportunities to win prizes, including Lorde concert tickets, Optus vouchers and an OPPO smartphone.
The standout feature of the activation was the digital game that was designed and developed to digitalise the old spin-the-wheel game. A large mock OPPO smartphone was created, inviting shoppers to use their hands to unlock the device, trigging a random spin on the screen which pictured a win or a loss.
The activation attracted a large number of participants that created a positive association with both brands and further promoting OPPO Australia’s partnership with Optus.
